About Us

Ideal Siding is one of the fastest-growing siding renovation companies in North America, with divisions across Canada and the U.S. We help homeowners improve and protect their homes through high-quality exterior renovation services, strong communication, and reliable project execution. Our team is built around accountability, professionalism, and getting the job done right.

About the Role

Ideal Siding Durham is hiring a full-time Construction Project Manager to support both the sales and operations side of the business. This is a hands-on role for someone who can build trust with homeowners, help move projects through the early sales process, and then oversee execution in the field from start to finish.

You will attend initial meetings with homeowners, support estimates and project planning, and help take some of the client-facing workload off the franchise owner. Once jobs are sold, you will help keep them on track by coordinating crews, ordering materials, monitoring timelines, solving problems, and maintaining a strong customer experience throughout the project.

This role is ideal for someone who understands residential construction, is comfortable in front of clients, and can shift between sales conversations, site visits, and day-to-day project management without falling apart by Tuesday.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Sales and Client Management

  • Attend initial meetings with homeowners to understand project scope and build trust
  • Support the sales process by helping qualify opportunities, assess project needs, and move leads toward signed agreements
  • Follow up with prospective customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide a strong customer experience from first conversation through project completion
  • Work closely with the franchise owner to reduce their load on appointments and project follow-up
Project Management and Operations

  • Oversee residential siding and exterior renovation projects from kickoff through completion
  • Coordinate installers and subcontractor crews to ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Order and track materials to ensure job sites are properly supplied
  • Conduct site visits as needed to monitor quality, address issues, and support crews in the field
  • Communicate with homeowners throughout the project to provide updates, answer questions, and manage expectations
  • Handle change requests, scheduling issues, and day-to-day problem solving as projects progress
  • Track project progress, timelines, and job-related details using company systems and tools

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in residential construction, renovation, project management, or a related field
  • Some sales experience, preferably in a consultative or homeowner-facing environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with customers
  • Comfortable attending client meetings, discussing project needs, and helping move work toward close
  • Proven ability to coordinate crews, manage moving parts, and keep projects organized
  • Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly when plans change
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in a client-facing role
  • Tech-comfortable and able to use CRM, scheduling, and project tracking tools
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work locally in the Durham / Chapel Hill market

Compensation and Benefits

  • Full-time, stable role with growth potential in a growing business
  • Strong support from an established brand and corporate systems

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation, including commission/bonuses
  • Paid time off & sick time
  • Warm, pre-qualified appointments set by our in-house team
  • Compensation for each qualified appointment you run
  • Ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship
  • Career advancement opportunities in a growing market
  • A supportive, team-oriented environment with strong momentum

Why This Role Stands Out

This is not a narrow coordinator role and it is not a pure sales role. It is a high-impact position for someone who wants real ownership, variety in their day, and the opportunity to play a meaningful part in both winning work and delivering it well. If you like being close to the action, solving problems, and helping projects move from first meeting to final walkthrough, this role offers that.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
