About The Role

As Ideal Siding continues to grow across North America, we’re looking to add a new Franchise Consultant to our team to help support our expanding network of franchise partners. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing company and contribute directly to the success of our franchisees.

The Franchise Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and performance of our franchise network. Acting as a key liaison between Head Office and our franchise partners, this role is focused on driving results, ensuring operational consistency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. We’re looking for a proactive and strategic thinker who thrives on building relationships, coaching others, and helping entrepreneurs succeed within a proven system. Below is a detailed description of the duties associated with this position: 

Remote Support and Coaching

  • Call-Based Franchisee Support: Dedicate a substantial amount of time to providing remote support. This includes conducting regular calls with franchisees to review quotes, discuss operational challenges, and offer guidance on best practices.
  • New Location Training: Involvement in new franchisee training at headquarters as the franchise system grows.
  • Navigating Challenges: Help franchisees navigate challenges related to materials and installation, identify solutions and ensure high-quality standards and efficiency are maintained.
  • Operational Improvement Suggestions: Based on both on-site observations and remote interactions, suggest improvements to franchisee operations, such as recommending tools, materials, or methods to enhance productivity and quality.
  • City-to-City Travel: Occasional travel may be required to visit various franchise locations to conduct in-person evaluations and provide direct support to franchisees.
  • Shadowing Franchisees: While on-site, shadow franchisees to observe daily operations, understand the workflow, and assess adherence to established systems and standards.
  • Performance Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to franchisees focusing on both strengths and areas for improvement, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and compliance with brand standards.
  • Compliance Verification: Verify that franchisees are following the prescribed systems and processes. This includes evaluating the use of materials, adherence to installation standards, and overall management practices.
  • Reporting to Headquarters: Report back to Ideal Siding headquarters sharing insights and observations on franchisee performance, compliance, and challenges.

Essential Skills and Qualities

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze operations and identify compliance with standards and areas for improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for providing feedback, conducting effective training sessions, and reporting to headquarters.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to assist franchisees in overcoming operational challenges.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to different environments and situations encountered during city-to-city travel and remote interactions with franchisees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field
  • Experience in franchising (2 years)
  • Experience in sales (2 years)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations for operational improvements
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Experience in siding or related fields is a plus
  • Nice to have Project Management and Construction experience

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
