About the Role

We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative to support the growth of our commercial department through consistent outbound outreach and pipeline support.

This is a junior outbound role focused on introducing Ideal Siding to commercial contacts, identifying potential opportunities, booking conversations, and keeping outreach activity organized. It is not a full-cycle sales position.

You’ll be reaching out to general contractors, property managers, developers, and other construction stakeholders across assigned territories, helping our team build awareness, maintain follow-up, and create a stronger pipeline of commercial opportunities.

This role is a strong fit for someone who is comfortable on the phone, organized with follow-up, and motivated to help open doors through steady, professional outreach.


What You’ll Do

  • Make outbound calls and send emails to general contractors, property managers, developers, and other commercial contacts
  • Introduce Ideal Siding and help create early interest in our commercial services
  • Research and identify active projects, relevant contacts, and potential bid opportunities
  • Help keep commercial contact lists, outreach records, and project tracking organized in CRM and internal systems
  • Follow up with prospects consistently to maintain communication and support relationship development
  • Help coordinate meetings and introductions between commercial contacts and internal team members
  • Support the commercial team with outreach-related admin, lead tracking, and pipeline organization
  • Contribute ideas to improve outreach workflow, follow-up structure, and tracking accuracy

What We’re Looking For

  • Some experience in outbound calling, lead generation, customer outreach, inside sales, or appointment setting
  • Confidence making cold calls and sending outreach emails
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and reliable with follow-up and record-keeping
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and managing multiple contacts at once
  • Professional, persistent, and able to stay consistent in a role with repetitive outreach
  • Interested in learning more about commercial sales and business development
Nice to Have

  • Experience in construction, home services, or working with contractors
  • Experience with cold calling or appointment-setting
  • Familiarity with commercial project environments or B2B outreach

Compensation Structure

This role includes hourly pay plus performance-based commission tied to outreach results and pipeline growth. Commission eligibility begins after the successful completion of the probationary period, with the final structure to be confirmed.
