About the Role
Our Boulder division is looking for a motivated and results-driven Construction Sales Manager to join our growing team.This role drives revenue growth by generating/managing leads, managing the sales process, and closing projects in siding, windows, doors, decks, and exterior renovations. It requires an experienced, motivated, high-energy professional who can deliver consistent sales results, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and ensure projects align with company profitability targets. The Sales Manager also contributes to brand reputation by delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Attend scheduled appointments, assess client needs, measure, design, quote and close new residential/commercial exterior renovation projects.
- Manage scheduled appointments set by Ideal Siding call center
- Conduct in-home consultations, accurately measure, design the solution and present tailored proposals.
- Educate homeowners on siding, windows, doors, and other product options (e.g., James Hardie, LP SmartSide, vinyl, composite, aluminum).
- Manage the sales pipeline through CRM with accurate forecasting.
- Build strong trust with homeowners by providing expert guidance.
- Deliver professional presentations with visual aids, samples, and financing options
- Maintain ongoing relationships for referrals and repeat business.
- Price projects to meet company margin goals while remaining competitive.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure smooth handoff of signed contracts.
- Monitor project progress and assist in resolving scope or change-order issues.
- Provide feedback on lead quality and marketing campaigns.
- Represent company at home shows, community events, and networking opportunities.
- Help drive positive online reviews and referrals.
- Coordinate Social Media - Keeping FB, Instagram and other Social Media platforms up to date
- Post before and after pictures to display completed work
- Solicit client comments to place on website
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven track record of closing sales in any industry (auto, software, construction, services, etc)
- Preferred: 5+ years of proven track record of closing sales in construction, remodeling, or home improvement.
- Preferred: knowledge of siding, windows, and exterior renovation products
- Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Self-starter, self motivated to get things going and drive to achieve success!
- Goal-oriented, systematic, and disciplined.
- Tech-savvy (CRM, digital estimating tools, presentation apps).
- High integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
