Overview
Ideal Siding is looking for a Construction Project Manager to support the successful execution of larger, more complex exterior renovation projects. This role is perfect for someone with 5+ years of experience in construction or exterior renovation who brings strong technical expertise and thrives in a support-focused, consultative position.
You’ll work closely with our leadership and project teams to ensure large-scale projects are executed smoothly and safely. Rather than managing day-to-day operations, you’ll work behind the scenes to help identify risks, review scopes and drawings, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert input to ensure our projects run smoothly and professionally. You’ll play a key role in helping our franchise partners and project teams navigate larger commercial jobs with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and risk mitigation support for exterior renovation projects that exceed typical residential scope
- Review scopes of work, material selections, and site plans to ensure feasibility and accuracy
- Assist franchisees and project managers with execution strategies, sequencing, and issue resolution
- Flag potential construction or site-related risks before project launch
- Ensure work aligns with applicable codes, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Support documentation, planning, and process development as we scale our commercial offering
- Serve as a resource and sounding board for teams across multiple locations
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–10 years of experience in exterior renovations, siding, or light construction — ideally in a project management or technical support role within a larger construction firm
- Experience managing multi-unit projects
- Strong understanding of building envelopes, cladding systems, and general construction practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- A clear communicator with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
- Collaborative mindset and ability to support teams across different regions
- Comfortable balancing field awareness with office-based technical consulting
